The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce seeks a qualified candidate to fill the role of Membership Manager and Social Media Engagement. This position is responsible for membership support, recruitment, retention, associated programs, communications and public relations events. The Membership Manager supports the Director and other staff with development of non-dues revenue programs, events and value added membership programs. This is a professional position that supports the Director and staff with assigned projects and tasks and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will be a high-energy, polished professional with excellent relationship building and customer service skills, and event planning experience. In addition to contributing to the growth of the membership, the Director of Membership will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of programs and special events targeted to promote the growth and retention of our members. This position also assists with the recruitment, commitment and retention of sponsors for the events and programs of the Chamber. The Director of Membership must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and possess strong attention to detail.
