Mitchell County Chamber and EDC Showcase Mitchell County at Carolina West Meeting

The staff of the Mitchell County Chamber along with board members from the Economic Development Commission made a presentation at the CarolinaWest and Economic Development Partnership of NC meeting on May 20, 2015 in Asheville. CarolinaWest and the EDPNC invited representatives from the 10 county region to present economic development information and the latest news from the counties during a full day of presentations and meetings. In attendance were industry recruiters from the NC Department of Commerce.  Mitchell County had the opportunity to present the current activities and programs in process in the county as well as the available properties and sites available for prospective new industry.
