Mitchell County Chamber Celebrates Small Business Week

The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce will celebrate our local small businesses during National Small Business Week and continue to shine the light on the backbone of our community. This week is all about recognizing our local businesses and helping them connect, learn and grow.

“Mitchell County is blessed with so many small businesses and business owners that provide the backbone of our economy,” said Patti Jensen, Mitchell County Chamber Executive Director. Small businesses are a vital part of Mitchell County’s economy: sustaining jobs, adding to our unique culture and creating new products and services. “The Chamber’s mission is to support business and promote community and Small Business Week is a great opportunity to connect with our mission and remind everyone of the importance of small businesses in our county.”

The Chamber will be celebrating Small Business Week with a variety of events. Businesses are invited to take part in these events and offerings throughout the week and local citizens are encouraged to join the Chamber in celebrating small businesses in our community by making a point to shop local this week, share a business’ social media posts, tag your favorite local businesses in a thank you social media post, visit local businesses and thank them for doing business in Mitchell County.

Activities throughout Small Business Week in Mitchell County will include:
