The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of the new Chamber Classic Golf Tournament, set for Monday, May 18th at the beautiful Grassy Creek Golf and Country Club in Spruce Pine.
The Chamber Classic promises a fun-filled day of golf, camaraderie, and community spirit on one of the region’s most scenic courses. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of play, exciting contests, and the opportunity to compete for great prizes. The tournament is designed for players of all skill levels and will provide a memorable experience for teams and sponsors alike.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce’s ongoing community programs and initiatives, as well as the Chamber’s scholarship fund, which helps invest in the future of local students. By participating, teams and sponsors are not only enjoying a fantastic day on the course—they are also making a meaningful impact across Mitchell County.
“We’re excited to introduce the Chamber Classic as a new tradition for our business community,” said Bill Slagle, Executive Director. “This tournament is a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, promote local businesses, and support important programs that strengthen our community.”
Four-person teams are encouraged to register now, as spots are expected to fill quickly. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering businesses valuable exposure while supporting the Chamber’s mission.
