The Mitchell Chamber hosts several Signature Events each year for our members and community. We promote our community and our businesses through many events throughout the year. NC Mineral & Gem Festival
Since 1959, the Chamber has hosted the NC Mineral and Gem Festival bringing a huge economic impact to our businesses while celebrating the mining heritage and industry in our county.
Top to Toe 5K
Partnering with the Quartz Corp, we welcome participants to run the adventure race from the top of a local mine to our downtown area.
Rise+Thrive Business Lab
This monthly workshop series, held right here at the Chamber office, will feature timely, practical topics created with your input. Even better—these workshops are offered in collaboration with the Mayland Small Business Center, bringing expert guidance, trusted resources, and real-world strategies directly to our local business community.
Chamber Classic Golf Tournament
Tee up for one of Mitchell County’s most anticipated business and community events of 2026! Join us for the Mitchell County Chamber Classic Golf Tournament, a fun and engaging day on the course bringing together local businesses, leaders, and community supporters. Proceeds from the tournament will support the ongoing efforts of the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce in supporting and promoting the local business community in addition to support our annual scholarship program for local Mitchell High School students.
